I’m so glad you’re here. If you found me, it’s because we already have something in common. You are either a mental health professional who is looking for more tools to work with children with sensory-based needs, a parent who has questions about their child’s experiences, or someone who wants to know more about regulation, play, and how to help.
As a practicing Licensed Professional Counselor and the mother of a child with sensory processing challenges, I have been in all the shoes.
The work you’ll find here was born from my experience first as a mother in the waiting room, then as a counselor in the play room. I hope that my work adds valuable language to our understanding of how best to help these children, and I hope you’ll join me in the conversation.
